Exhibition poster by Hannah Ziaby

In the metaverse
I was fertilised by pink hearts
Two taps on polished glass
Primed and pressed I am as cool as the marble tiles of this powder room, and I prep
Some ropes, and in my sailor skirt
I am so on duty,
Ordering an Uber to the pin you dropped
Where bodies shine like polished oak
In splendour of good form and clouded myth
We dance in disco and light beams pour into her heart which is Godly and pulses
Against the sea of faces that separate us over and over
When the script pumps our arteries into overdrive
When her cheeks are whipped and rosey
And fabric tears on the downpull
A silver knife is drawn to carve distance
So that
When it grazes your skin and pierces through the sound
Against soft petals,
A pinch point pours rosewater
It trickles out
A little piece of heaven
Carved from chaos
