Christina May Carey is an artist working across photography, moving image, sculpture, and installation. Born in, and currently based in, Naarm/Melbourne, Carey graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2021. She has exhibited at institutions including Heide Museum of Modern Art, the Fiona and Sidney Myer Gallery, and La Trobe Art Institute, and was a finalist in the 2025 Ramsay Art Prize, for which she exhibited at the Art Gallery of South Australia. Solo presentations include LAILA, Hyacinth, and KINGS, and group presentations include Spring 1883 Art Fair (presented by LAILA), Blindside, CAVES, and Iklectik Art Lab (London).
